It's sad when anyone dies, regardless of their age. The fact I even need to point this out to you is also sad.

62 is way too young. It's 20 years before average life expectancy for a male. I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did when he was 96...not like those screaming passengers did who were in his car at the time.

How sad. First I've heard of his illness, let alone the fact that he'd passed away.

He was a good looking bloke in his day - as they used to say when I was a youngun 'a real spunkrat'.

Condolences to he and his family. Geez, cancer is an insidious disease. And there are so many deadly forms of it.

And Greedy, nowdays 62 is not a decent run really. Many people are still healthy, working and paying off mortgages at that age!

Well i'm looking forward to getting there[its coming very quickly now], its been one hell of a journey, some good, some not so good but all character building and probably wouldnt change a thing.

Shhh, don't tell Greedy but I'll be 45 on Friday...he must think I'm REALLY old...I wouldn't change a thing either, even the awful stuff we've all had to go through. It indeed creates the fabric of who we become later in life.
