I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and hope 2026 is a very safe, enjoyable and eventful one.


And to those that have unfortunately lost someone very close to them this year (which I think there are at least three people here I can think of), and as Christmas especially can be a challenging time, cherish the memories and the good times, my thoughts are with you and all the very best to you and your families in the coming year and well into the future.


Finally, thank you to Chris, Gman, Red and Rooster_6 for all your hard-earned efforts throughout the year and for keeping this place up and running. Mustn’t have been easy.

Thank you so much for the kind words and the acknowledgement. The Chookpen is a singularly unique meeting point for those of us that love the Red, White and Blue.

Your words regarding those who have lost loved ones are very timely and very, very much appreciated.
