  • I just got an email from Foxtel saying they’re putting up their premiums again. They’ve just spent a few months offering new customers huge deals on half price packages and nothing for existing customers, in my case almost 30 years a subscriber, but a premium hike!

    • It's bloody disgraceful. I've been with Foxtel since 1997 and they have never offered me anything. Loyalty gets you nowhere in this day and age.

I bought another, pink and gold, with a lid, also T2, for $7 at Vinnies.

Me too Red. I’ve been a subscriber since 1997 as well.

The "back in my day" mantra irks me.

                • Having a pot of English Breakfast tea with my breakfast at a cafe on the way out from Stuarts Point. Next stop Taree to visit in laws but will do a quick side trip through Port Macquarie on the way.

Back in my day, men didn't drink tea or go to cafes

                    • Back in my day men went to pubs. Real pubs!

None of this wood fired pizza oven in the middle of the pub bullshit.

                      • Back in my day we slept on dirt farking floors and we'd get up, go to work, have a can of baked beans for lunch then off to the pub for 12 schooners then home for tea and a root.

Real men drink tea and they are allowed to cry and feel emotions.

Yep when things weren’t available instantly like they are now. It’s a completely foreign concept to those born this century.
