I should say I’m not against all forms of wokism IMO There are some good causes which the woke support. However this sick sort of decadence you mention is a disgrace and not one of them. It really does take a lot to offend me but this behaviour on the world stage has done just that ( keep it to the Mardi Gras I’ve no issue with that if one doesn’t want to see it you don’t watch it)

I don’t discriminate against anyone But I find this Absolute decadence and filth and a sign of how low our society is sinking that this is considered acceptable for the opening ceremony of an Olympic Games. I don’t care if one is gay straight drag queen any of the letters LGBTQIA’s If you want to identify as a cat dog whatever go ahead I don’t care as such But to mock one’s faith is unacceptable Hypocrisy of the highest order when you consider Israel Folau and the shit storm created by his comments

OH RT this was such a bold prediction But let’s be honest the Olympics have been tainted in fact I would say blackened by this opening ceremony and the fact they allow people who tape 12 year olds to compete but ban someone for whipping a horse

I’m more wondering if you find this decadence that took place in the opening ceremony acceptable I don’t care about drag queens one way or another nor am I what you call a practicing Christian and I’m not easily offended However the mockery these people made of Christian’s values was imo disgusting Even worse it upset my youngest Sister who does hold true Christisn values and I’ve always looked out for her

The opening ceremony was an embarrassment, even though the boats going along the Seine seemed liked a good idea it was about as exciting as when the AFL tried the Grand Final parade on the Yarra River, was just so flat, even Lady Ga Ga's performance couldn't lift proceedings, the only bright spot was Celine Dion performance at the Eiffel Tower.
You cant beat Sydney's opening ceremony especially with Olivia Newton John (rip ) and John Farnham walking amongst the athletes singing Dare To Dream and Cathy Freeman lighting the flame.

As for our next Gold medal how good would it be for Mollie O Callagham and Ariane Titmus dead heat for the gold medal so both could take away gold as both deserve it, i just hope i haven't jinxed both of them because as we know there is no such thing as a sure thing, just hope both figure in the medal presentations.

I love Arnie but I think Mollie was leaving a bit in reserve ..But then again maybe Arnie was too ?! I'm hoping 1 and 2 Australia either way . Go girls !!

Either are deserving of the Gold, would love to see both share it as if it goes to script the difference between 1 st and 2nd could come down to a split second.

I still haven’t watched the opening ceremony. I did record it though but having read how long it went and the controversies around it, I’ve been putting it off. I’ve been enjoying the swimming as always though and the gymnastics which I love. I watched some of the Matilda’s game today too. That was a crazy game.

Usually I'm too impatient for the competition to begin. The only opening ceremony I ever watched was Sydney.

It still gives me a chill when that lone horseman gallops into the stadium.
