The difference is that Israel never goes out to kill innocent people where Hamas aim to kill innocents. They shoot their rockets from residential areas and put their own people at risk. They hide behind their women and children.

Yeh Israeli aggression in retaliation to terrorism. Have you read both sides of the story? I think you only know one.

Ok, I’ll brave a comment. The situation in the Middle East is one hell of a complex dilemma. Ever since I was old enough to understand it I have grappled with the futility and morality of what goes on there for decades on end now. Two sides with religious claims to the same land. One dispossessed. Both sides causing deplorable atrocities and terror on innocent victims mostly children and women. I’m expected to take sides. I can’t. The whole thing is morally repugnant to me. Senseless death and suffering is all I see. It makes me sick.

Sheer horror’: Babies, children murdered

Hamas militants have murdered at least 40 babies and children in a single town, with some of them found beheaded.

Israeli soldiers said they discovered the horrifying aftermath in the town of Kfar Aza, near the border with Gaza.

Yes it’s sickening, barbaric and I can’t imagine how another human being can even contemplate doing such an act. It crosses the line where people are not so much worried about the cause but driven by pure hatred. It’s why the situation there will never resolve in my lifetime.

Not sure who the start at is aimed at. I don’t pretend to know this conflict, but I do know this conflict has two sides to it. I’m not justifying any of it from either side unlike some who are commenting. One very special poster here has called for Palestine to be covered in pigs blood (obviously a religious reference ) andALL it’s people mowed down.

I’ve deliberately avoided replying to anyone whom I know or think has skin or blood in this conflict and will continue to do so. Id say that poster I’ve just mentioned has skin/blood in this. Even though our govt said it sides with Israel that though does not mean all its people do. Get about on social media the issue is extremely divisive. Personally I side with neither. I don’t care whose land it is. I’m actually quite concerned where or what this now leads to as it has the potential to get very ugly and drag others supporting either side into it
