My wife is also a obsessive list make .And that's how she remembers to get me to do things .Long list .I'm in the building trade and when we were younger built out first home but as I was busy working for others I never finished the little things. 7 years later we were selling and Jen asked , demanded I do them before sale .I said make me a list and she did .It took me half a day to fix them and I thought I did a good thing .But no .Her response was She waited 7 years for me to do half a day's work.

Lol, my hubby is totally disorganised. I mean really bad. Because of this I think my obsessive compulsive love of organising and list making has actually got worse over the years to compensate for his um…lack of skill…in that department. I’ve heard stories before similar to yours about builders who are so devoted to working on their clients jobs (a good thing) that they're too busy to fix up minor things in their own home.

I reckon a lot of good tradespeople have a clever wife organizing the business side. Had some good experiences with a few of those kinds of businesses recently.

Mate if I didn't have my missus I would be broke . She reckons I know how to make money but she knows how to keep it . Been a good combo for 38 years
