From memory Tomy Symonds and Martin Kennedy also balance uni and footy so hopefully they can give the kid some good advice as to how best to do it. Probably best to go slow and steady with the uni, not try to take too many subjects each term. It may take him longer to finish his degree but he'd probably achieve a better result.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostGood luck to the kid. Hopefully we don't rush him. Uni and footy is a massive commitment.
At least we are signing players who are looking for a future beyond football. The more we can sign the better.
The more these younguns have to fill their day the less chance there is of boredom setting in and wandering off down the local to drink/gamble.

Haha yeah mate how good was the one back of his left. He's a big boy too. Looks like he'll fill out to close to 100kg by the time he's 20. Interesting that they had him in the centres rather than at fullback. Can't wait to see him in the 20s next season. You're gonna have to start getting to games early to see our young guns buddy.

Roosters are very lucky to sign him, not just a quality player but a quality bloke. Hes made every rep team u can make in union and this year he led his school to their first ever national league title. A big boy at least 90kgs, ton of pace, great fend and everyone here knows him for his dazzling footwork. Great all round game and even better hes very much a team player and extremely humble. This kid will go places. I see him at centre for nyc. Id still have wells at fullback.

Do you think he has the ball playing skills to crack it as a 5/8 in league?

If RTS has made all these union rep teams at 12, you'd have to think he'd have some ball playing skills.Last edited by BlindFreddy; 10-30-2011, 03:07 PM.

where did you get this from - you seem to the root of this belief around here that he has in fact left although in the last couple of days it has emerged from others on here that that would be falseOriginally posted by Rooster_6 View PostWells has moved up to the Gold Coast.
