I see Milne and Meehan made the NSW under 18 team.

Taane Milne was selected for the NSW Under 18's but Newington (private yawion school he attends) have not given him permission to play and he has therefore reluctantly withdrawn. Due to his rugby union committments we are unlikely to see Milne at the Roosters now till nex season.

I read that from 1 of newmans posts, who I believe does know what he is talking about.

Yeah I saw that in the Moga thread and expressed my outrage.

Can't believe they'd deny the kid an opportunity like that. Is he signed with us long term? Hope so ...would hate to see him waste his talents playing that rubbish game.

I think Taane had to make a choice, he has a very good chance to play Australian School boys Rugby and thats an impressive thing too. His centre partner at Newington is Tepai Morea (forgive the possible spelling error) he too was selected for the NSW RL team.
He also played U20s for Parra.

Does anyone know about whether we have signed up Taane Milne for next year? Surely the club has.
