For those thinking Brown will be better it won’t take long for him to cop a suspension either.

Why? Rads has been an abject disgrace with the way he's conducted himself on the field recently.

He just straight up headbutted a guy and copped a 3 week suspension when we desperately need our leaders to lead. I don't see Isaah Yeo or Cam Murray do that.

I mean at what point do Rads most ardent defenders have an honest look at the straight up trash he's delivered the past couple of years?

        Sin bins, suspensions, average play...

He is simply not suited to today's micro managed game.

His salary at present is dead weight.

Are people fully conscious of just how AWFUL we are at present? Our team of "stars" has scored the fewest points in the NRL in half a season.

Uncle Nick always makes the tough decisions and long may that continue.

TJ young fella, me lad. I can assure you people are aware of how bad we are and how we have underachieved since 2019. Note the many slippers being put in this year.

BUT, suggesting we punt one of our key players and heart n soul Roosters is crazy talk.

The Robbo dynasty was built on being that bit extra harder and tougher in the contest, and the contact. That was the cornerstone of the Roosters Way. People like Vic grew up with that and into that system. He already had the innate old school values, this was the perfect fit. Protect your mate at all costs if a Zac Lomax steps over the mark.

THEN the game we know has been sanitised and purified by the bowers that pee to an almost unrecognisable version these days. Bunkers, dont hit too hard or hurt someone, tackles with funny names, HIA obsession etc.

Vic has become a lost soul. Robbo hasnt been able to coach our transition as a team or with an individual like Vic.

We've lost our mojo, and yes with a lot of great players leaving the scene too. But we have been masters of our destiny, had the pick of the top stalls. We built this city.

I don't blame someone like Vic, rather I hurt alongside him.

Brown's tackle that went on report was a beauty. They all just freaked out because the ball carrier's head rocked back.

Never made contact with the head on replay, at first it just "looked bad".

Rads is like Robbo here.. Many can’t see the forest..
Rads is a player stuck in an 80’s mould.

Sadly, he has come two dimensional. A defender and a liability .. In other words .. Net Zero

Very well said Jack. You described the situation perfectly. Since 2019 Vlandys League has changed the fabric of the game and in the process nullified the Roosters Way. We have yet to properly adjust to this and the problem has been made more difficult because of nearly 4 years of constant injuries and suspensions, making it hard to get any fluency or consistency in a new Roosters Way.

I dont think alot of you understand the coach, players & club want Rads to play aggressively & sail close to the wind.
Over the years so many on here have carved JWH up for being sin binned or suspended & wanted him punted but without these guys there is no aggro in the team, its a brutal sport where aggression & the want to hurt the opposition is all part of it, sometimes it goes wrong but if you dont like the intimidation, aggression & thuggery then go & watch ballet.
I dont want Victor to change at all.
Since the current mob took over it’s become a girls game of touch footy. The game used to be great watching an intense battle. Now you gotta worry about hip drops, grapple tackles, shoulder charges, sin bins, concussion breaks and so much stuff that kills the contest. It will become touch footy soon.

Seems honest in his regret and about not performing, hopefully our guru coach will be able to get him playing his best within the rules.

I’m not going to bother listening to his spin, it’s all fake. I’m sure he’ll either get sin-binned or suspended again in either his return game or the game after that, he’s become a massive liability

I’m sick of hearing the same apologies from Victor only for him to keep making the same mistakes..

He mentions how Nick and Robbo have his back through these tough times,I wonder if Sam Walker feels the same!
