I was blaming the players. I was so mad I nearly spilled my beer and my pizza all over myself. How dare they do that to me? I was doing it tough it nearly gave me indigestion...Inconsiderate lot!!!

28 points in as many minutes isn't starting slow.

Same thing happened up in Melbourne. Should we blame that on heat as well? I think it was always a game they were going to belt us in. They were prepared and we obviously weren't.

It was stated that the heat hit them as soon as they got off the plane...
Everyone knew what the weather would most likely be like, weeks, if not months before...
If anything, we should have played Melb or Canberra up there as the conditions wouldn't have suited them as much as it did NQ...
Team selections including playing without our in form small men & having 4 forwards on the bench weren't smart...
Possession % in the first 20 mins has been reported at 90-10 to the cowboys...

All that said we were just out played & by a more committed team...
          That's why we lost...
Could be a long season with similar results coming our way if the team doesn't respect the jersey...

We are the kings of excuses.

A few years ago it was masons fault.

            Then Myles and carney.

Then a conspiracy from the refs.

            Now it's the heat.

Next week it'll be something else, maybe the wind.

            Excuse excuse excuse

                Just like you Fredo.

You've blamed every coach we've had, except when we make the semis or a GF.

Then it's not the coach its a players fault.

You're always looking for an excuse to validate your frustrations with something just like everyone else.

Knowing our luck, it would be Tracy Grimshaw.

                          This song comes to mind.

Just like Tojo and Darwin...Je dirais que juste Kerry Packer a été dans Tracy. Ou peut-être le Ginge.

I am sure the heat had alot to do with the size of the loss.
I have lived in Central QLD for 18 years and still haven't got used to the heat, so how can they in 3 days. Would have been better to take another Sydney team there, at least it would have been fair on both teams.

Atleast now we have a super rest untill the Anzac test and come out pumped...

As mentioned by many people already - It was a very poor decision by the club. Moving the game to a place with 35 degree heat, 95% humidity against a team who live/train in similar conditions all year was a disaster waiting to happen! Maybe now the club will learn not to move games away from home (considering we have lost the last 11 home games away from Allianz). And if they do, move them to more appropriate venues!
