Radley has done a lot of talking in the media this year about how he has changed and how determined he is to be better. He then usually backs it up with another pointless sin-binning so he is due another one this week.

I sometimes think of the story “The empowers new cloths” when Robbo speaks. Because he is the smartest person in the room then he must be right all the time and always know’s what he’s doing.
While I love Robbo I’m frustrated that we seem to have the same basic issues week in week out for a number of years now. I.e low completion rates, ill discipline with drop balls and penalties. He speaks about improving these areas in press conferences but on the field I’m yet to see any results. There seems to be a disconnect between what is said and what is happening and this makes me question the coachingLast edited by RoosterBooster; 05-09-2023, 11:33 PM.

Another player who smashed it on the International scene last year but looks nowhere near that form this year!

Well said. Anyone that can cite 2021 is a gibberer.Originally posted by Inflictor View Post
Let's ignore the injury toll we had in 2020 and 2021 and the injuries and rort of the semi last year. Easy to cry at the time how bad we copped it but just as easy to ignore if it suits the agenda.
FFS
2020 we had key injuries too but did flame out a bit at the end. Even though it was a straight sets exit we still had the ball in our hands at the end of both games with a chance to win.
last year we mistimed the top four run by one week but got outgrubbed and outreffed. We were the second best team heading into the finals. Just lost our heads.
There’s no doubt our inconsistency is frustrating and some of Robbo’s decisions right now appear bizarre.
it’s still very early in the season and for the first time in a loooong time there’s no standout elite team to beat

Although you always find such folk never taking the next step - they talk the talk but never walk the walk
Of course the old we can have an opinion / don't have to have played NRL or Coached NRL to have an opinion blah blah blah will be trotted out.
Tedious though to hear the same opinion dishing the same players and now coach by the same folk ad nauseum though
One poster even counted that one of these folk had 30 odd posts about the same topic and saying the same things about Coach Robinson yesterday and by the looks of it today they have probably doubled it.

There’s no doubt Robbo has been a blessing for the last 10 years, however we as fans do have some brains and can see that some things are not right. This comes from decades of watching / playing/ discussing/ listening to footy all the way from u see 7s to suburban footy .
For starters Sualli at centre has been a dismal failure especially after the way he killed it at wing last year. He has been so ineffective it’s a joke.
Secondly Hutchinson is not a starting centre. He’s a great utility to cover many positions but at centre he’s too slow and easily exposed by any outside back that has a bit of speed. We’d get better value from
him at 5/8 or lock.
lastly I’d like to see some set moves to help unlock Teddy and Radley and Manu. We have the players and the talent, we just need to put it together and I have faith in Robbo to find the solution and not leave it too late like last year.

It's a forum to discuss our team which has underperformed for 3 straight seasons.......it's nothing to do with "knowing better" than Trent, I do know however the team has not been consistently playing to it's potential which is on the coaching staff. I don't want Trent gone, I just want him to break free of the funk he's been in for quite a while now and get the best out of the very talented squad he has been given.

Played two of the top 4 sides this year for a win and a loss, last year beat all the top 4 sides except for Penrith.Originally posted by Danish View PostWe’ve had 3 straight years of making up the numbers. Haven’t beaten a top 4 side in forever.
robbo has past runs on the board but if this year is a fizzer like 2022 was he’ll be on very thin ice

Great point. He has never got our discipline under control with him but previously we had the talent to make it up.Originally posted by Lydon View PostLooks like Robbo has struggled since the 6 again rule was implemented
Hopefully he will adjust soon
The 6 again has flipped that on its head. We NEED to be more disciplined and he just hasn’t adjusted accordingly.
I’ve always been in TIT fan club but he is losing me with his selections..

Basically Queen, just use this forum half the time to talk about a second rowers play the ball speed from 2015 against Wenty Magpies, make an oudated cultural reference and give a rally call for all of "Coach Robinsons" decisions. Any opinions good, bad or indifferent will not be tolerated or computed by dunces such as yourself.

Say what you want about being an armchair coach and not having the footy IQ of Robbo, that may be true. Which is why it's all the more baffling he makes stubborn and braindead decisions on a constant basis like playing Hutchison in the centres, play Manu in the 6 and dropping the best young player we've had at the club in the last decade.
Whatever your footy IQ is, putting Hutch out of position in the centres is like expecting a Fiat to beat a Ferrari in a straight-line sprint because you've fed it the good oil before the race.

Missing the point mate. We didn’t beat anyone at all in the finals. Are you one of those who think comps are won in April/May?Originally posted by Maxy Walker View Post
Right so when does it matter? Did the game against souths a few weeks ago not matter? I guess they better take the 2 points off us if that’s the caseLast edited by rented tracksuit; 05-10-2023, 03:55 PM.FVCK CANCER
