If he doesn't deliver at least a prelim this year I'd consider moving him on as the 2020s would look like the following:

2020 - Top 4 finish where we crashed out in straight sets

2021 - Barely squeaked past a Titan's side we were expected to do very well against, then got belted by Manly 42-6

2022 - One of the most frustrating finals performances I've seen as we play Souths and are embarrassed by them. Crash out in Round 1 of the finals losing 30-14.

Unacceptable if we don't go deep this year.
Laughable to think the Roosters would dump Coach Robinson - Les Tricolores / Water Boy is a troll

2020 - Finals lost to Penrith 29-28 and Canberra 22-18
2021 - Stack of injuries throughout that year and made the finals - a great effort in any one's books
2022 - Hardly the Coaches fault losing players to injuries and experienced players losing the plot and being sin binned - Radley twice and JWH once.

Despite all the paper talk the Roosters don't have the best squad nor the best spine - around 4th to 5th in both - Penrith/Souths/Brisbane in front in both areas and Storm when they have their full strength spine of Papenhuyzen/Munster/Hughes and Grant

Brisbane's best 17 is a very good side in anyone's books
    1. Walsh
    2. Oates
    3. Staggs
    4. Farnsworth
    5. Cobbo
    6. Mam
    7. Reynolds
    8. Fleggler
    9. Walters
    10. Haas
    11. Capewell
    12. Riki
    13. Carrigan
    14. Paix
    15. Jensen
    16. Taupau
    17. Hetherington

    Spines - Full strength

    1. Melbourne - Papenhuyzen/Munster/Hughes/Grant
    2. Penrith - Edwards/Luai/Cleary/Luke
    3. Souths - Mitchell/Walker/Ilias/ Cook
    4. Brisbane - Walsh/Mam/Reynolds/Walters

    5. Roosters - Tedesco/ Keary/Manu/Walker/Smith

You obviously don’t know the meaning of the term… yet to hear any factual response from you towards anyone regarding anything… just always something personal

Oh here we go… how exactly do you rate our spine 5th? Lol

Let’s just start with your number 4 as an example…

            Tedesco>Walsh
            Manu>Mam
            Reynolds>=Keary
            Smith>Walters

How does that make their spine better than ours?

Seriously what planet are you living on?

Well let's start looking around for a new available coach...one who attracts top line players and brings instant success....

              1. Des Hasler- set the dogs back that far that they are only now starting to recover-and in the interim he has got moved on from Manly

              2. Paul McGregor-monumental failure at StGeorge

3 Michael Maguire- sacked by Souths and failed at Wests and won't attract any players besides Jackson Hastings-if that's what you want

              4. Nathan Brown- 350 Nrl first grade as coach for nil results

Anthony Griffin will be looking for a job soon if you're that way inclined-his job looks like going to Ben Hornby

Where do you look next? Super League coaches Steve McNamara or Adrian Lam?

              Trent Barrett? Jason Taylor?

To all those who want Robbo gone please give a name of a replacement, why you think he will bring success and if will attract top line players to the club

              PS Bellamy wont come

First of all let's just see what happens with the rest of the year. But anything than a top 4 finish & early finals exit is unexceptable.

But this ridiculous "who do we replace him with" is getting really old.

When Robbo replaced Brian Smith people were questioning who he was, what his credentials were & how he got the job as a relatively unknown. Then he shocked everyone with his early success.

How will you ever know if someone else will be any good unless they get a go? Otherwise let's just stay with this same old ground hog day s**t.

I tend to agree with the next poster

Are you suggesting he is the only man for the job?

That no one else could have success here?

You assume that Hutch is a top 17 player.

I think you should stop assuming.

I'm not saying Robbo doesn't want to do it anymore but I can assure you he isn't as motivated as he once was back in 2013 or even the 2018-2019 seasons when he had the challenge of going back to back. What does he really have left to achieve that he hasn't already? He's won grand finals, he coaches some of the best players in the world, coaches a "glamour club", he has a fat contract where he's made millions as a coach, he probably has a beautiful house, car etc. What drives him after a decade? Probably not too much.

Might be time for some new blood but not in a mean spirited way, if Robbo isn't getting the job done (You'd expect at absolute minimum a prelim this year) then maybe you do consider moving him on for someone like Jason Ryles, give Robbo an amazing send off and treat him like the legend he is.

Unfortunately for Robbo's detractors he's the head coach until at least the end of the 2028 season...
That contract won’t mean much if the results aren’t there.

Ricky got punted two years after making three straight GFs.

Robbo obviously has more credit in the bank than Ricky but if we don’t give the comp a serious shake this year or next he’s under a lot of pressure.

The good news is we can get a LOT better. And there’s no close to invincible team this year. Every team is VERY beatable if we get there.

If the coach is booted then two of the ones on your list have won comps- Hasler and Madge. I would pick one of those if the coach went.

Christian Wolffe. Shane Flannagan. For the roster we have, we should be doing a lot better. Anyway see what happens in Penrith this Friday. GO ROOSTERS.

I'm not giving up on Trent yet but he has been in a funk since the rules were overhauled during the shutdown of the comp and the plethora of ACLs rattled him too - we've been mentally all over the place ever since. Our 8 wins in a row to end last season gave me great hope that he was finally breaking free of the funk but he's tinkered too much in the offseason and now we're back to looking like strangers every 2nd week again.

                            Cut the shit, Trent.

When the going gets rough the tough get going. But on this forum when the going gets rough some want to point the finger and play the blame game. This talk about sacking Robbo is ridiculous and desperate. After a couple of wins everyone will be back talking about finals footy and Robbo the genius. We are only at round ten, there is a long way to go so button up and enjoy the ride.
