The Sydney Roosters have fallen agonisingly short to the South Sydney Rabbitohs, going down 28-26 in Magic Round of the NSW Cup competition at North Sydney Oval on Saturday afternoon.

A handful of try assists from captain Sandon Smith, and strong offensive showings from Siua Wong and Jade Anderson weren’t enough to force a victory for the Tricolours, who lead until the 77th minute of the match.
