Yeah, deciding the halves on a week by week basis. He also said that we have three really good halves?

Walker was also in the sheds with the FG team singing the song. He was 18th man, but still, it was good to see him there with them, smiling.

I think we won the day on grit, ball security (which is a shock) and a bit of nous in those conditions against an undermanned Warriors. I also think last week was a poor performance and our experience got us over the line. Neither of which we dictated by the new halves pairing.

Manu hasn't impacted the game as much as we would've thought from 6. It doesn't appear he is getting the ball any more than usual. I think the experiment hasn't failed per say but hasn't had the desired effect. I can see Sam coming back into the side with Manu in the centres for Momo next week.

I'm critical of Hutch but farrrk me, I guess the "injury cover" that some Robbo lovers harp on about is accurate because he did a good job today. Cannot believe one team can get so many in-game injuries to outside backs, happens every 2 weeks.

I dunno. I suspect the coach might enjoy winning too much to change it back again

So he must have learnt a lot in those two losses in reserve grade to push for his first grade comeback, while the first grade team has won 2 without him.

some things just don’t make sense sometimes. Must have just been an attitude check.

I think Manu was a good selection this week given the conditions. Sam would have been too easy to get at in the line in defence and I doubt he comes up with the tackle that Manu did to dislodge the ball from Ford. But I would be happy to see Sam back in against the Cowboys up in Brissie.

Well....given the stats you just recounted, maybe it does make sense?

Actually I think I misinterpreted your meaning there...we likely agree.

Billy Smith completed 80mins for the Bears. Maybe too early for him to come back.
On a fast track like SunCorp Walker could be the play , Manu’s big body in the wet today was good

No halves pairing in todays game. It was the Luke Keary show once again. I love Manu, what a player but he is no 5/8th. A deer in headlights. The only plus was his defence!

We need a halfback! I believe Walker can do the job. He needs to stand up if he is reinstated and take ownership of his responsibilities as the Roosters No 7.

                              Up The Chooks.
