robbo's an honest bloke who routinely looks for the positive. they might be disappointed that he's leaving but surely they see that having him for two years is a plus?

Not sure if he will come back myself - but I would doubt the Roosters would agree to any PO's (Player Options) in any contract i.e sign for 2028/29 and PO's for 2030 and 2031 especially with another RWC in 2031.

There will be a new broadcast deal and CBA in place for 2028 to 2032 so what that will be like is unknown - i.e NRL Grants to Club/Salary Cap/Players wages etc

The Roosters could have a top notch fullback and centres by then and may not need him.

The world didn't end when RTS left and there is always someone else to take a players place when they leave.

yip thats fair anything could change and we could discover or sign the next best thing again.

in the perfect world in my head, manu moves to 6 with walker 7 and teddy keeps playing fullback until hes 34 in 2027 and retires as the most decorated fullback of the modern era.

then suaalii comes back and relpaces him while we have young and rob toia (if he recovers from his acl and hits his potential) in the centres

The kids a weapon & we would be crazy not to use him. 2yrs of his input could end up being 1 or 2 premierships.

I think I’ve been proven correct on both counts. latrell is too far/lazy to live up to his hype, while Sualli is too full of his own ego to actual fulfil his league potential
