Once again proving all the media flogs wrong. All have been babging on saying Teddy was going, he was on the outer,that he wasnt in our pland etc. About time they were held accountable for spreading lies & fake stories which affect peoples lives.

The media hate it when their works of fiction are exposed. They tend to get more vicious in response, so I expect they’ll concoct something else.

Correct, however it does put to bed the Teddy Vs JS rumour. It will now move to "will JS stay or move on" It does put the move slighlty in the Roosters favour though. Assuming Teddy retires at the end of 2025, the Roosters could offer JS massive dollars from 2025 and a guarenteed FB position. He's already signed to the end of 2024, so it's only 1 more year after that playing alongside teddy and then the spot and $$$ will be his.
Unfortunately though we will have to hear the rumour mill and speculation until he makes a decision next year on his future for 2025 and beyond.

Either way i'm stoked the club have re-signed Teddy and continue to have faith in our captains ability.

Manu could take the number 6 jersey once Keary retires. To be honest I love Kez but not sure he has too much longevity left in the game.
Sam walker needs a big body 5/8 like Manu to complement his game.

In saying that I hope Kez has a great year this year with no headknocks.

I think Keary will retire at the end of his contract next year and Manu will replace him at 5/8.
