  • Look on the bright side

No matter how bad things get for us. There is no way we can be as much of a basket case as the tigers.

Not a good look when a lot of Tigers crowd are starting to leave with 10 or so minutes to go - Dom Young 2 tries though

Knights main man off after 2min. Player sent off with 15min to go.....and still can't win !!! And they've locked themselves into Sheens and Benji for years

I backed the Tigers today just to give myself a reason to watch the game. They are diabolical. The Knights lost Ponga for the game to a head knock in the second minute, then Jayden Brailey for the game to a head knock later in the first half. They also lost Frizell to a bad ankle injury early in the second half. Dom Young got sin binned in the second half, then one of the Saifiti brothers got sent of with 15 to go. With all that, and with enough ball to sink a ship, the hopeless Tigers scored one scrambling try in the first half, then were awarded a barge over try that was clearly a double movement with 5 to go.

Watching a full game today from him today I'd also have to say Dom Young has more ability than I thought.

Dom Young, Toops, Manu, JS.......would have to be the tallest backline in the history of rugby league

Both teams were diabolical, and that Johns guy probably the son of Matt was terrible, kicking out on the full twice missed tackles and couldn't hit an elephant with his poor passing. Must be his name that got him selected.

It'll be a tough decision if Jaxon has a good year. Glad it's not my call.

That yesterday is one of the worst losses in NRL history.

Knights lose their best player and only real attacking threat one minute in. Their hooker and Friz soon after. Play against 12 men for 25 minutes against a team with a one man bench for virtually the entire game. At their fabled spiritual home against a team that will get nowhere near finals for the second week in a row, with the addition of a couple of exciting new players and the return of the “only time in history we weren’t shit” combo as coaches? Topped off by “looks like Tarzan plays like Jane Peter Siddle lentil bean diet” prop only finding some fight after fulltime against the unwanted halfback who swapped clubs with him in the offseason and was only trying to apologise for a not-that-bad tackle anyway?

Tigers fans should burn the joint down. Legit you couldn’t even blame a grown adult for switching clubs from them at this point.

Plus they played against 12 men for 25 minutes.

They may need super coaches Benji and Robbie to jump in early.

Jaxson only on a 1-year deal isn't he?

The common denominator has to be Luke Brooks. I don't want to hate on the bloke because he cops it everywhere but farrrk me they've got a rep level hooker with a rep level forward pack. Douehi is an excellent 5/8 who needs a game manager to supplement his aggressive running game. Brooks isn't it. The fact they re-signed him for so much money and then offloaded Hastings baffles me aswell.

It's not just Brooks though. They are a club with no momentum and no heart. Even with talent on the pitch, they lack cohesion and don't want to get dirty for the cause. I had them finishing 8th in my early season tips... it's only been 2 rounds but that seems a laughable notion at this point.
