Its funny, when Jake missed that try and said to my wife, she could have scored it.....and I wasn't joking. Slowest hooker in the comp.

That's crap Melon, I've counted at least six from him along with his crap passing, slow service and generally crap allround game.

Mind you he's not alone! He should be at Newtown.

Would have to say that Friend would have to be as bad as Mini when it comes to dummy half play and kicks in play. I don't know why he is there Morts and Mitchell would murder him if they were given the same opportunity.

How can you blame Friend when there are others who are far worse? Everyone tonight was shit. We have been inconsistent all year collectively so to blame Friend is piss poor.

Friend has shown over quite a while that he can't run a side around the park.. He needs Mitchell or someone else to spark something.. For me this game just proves it yet again !

Friend's romantic redemption story captured our attention and we really wanted him to be a great success. Alas he's a plodder with a high work rate. Ten minutes as a replacement either side of halftime would be enough.

He has no attacking spark and spoons passes.

Why on earth was Friend the only hooker we had in the squad tonight.. He was dreadful as he has been all season.. slow, overweight, poor decision making, dreadful service... No where near first grade standard atm..

I use the same response that I do for most things that are wrong with our team.

Smith has no idea how to run a football team properly and has lived off having gun players to get him the accolades he does not deserve.

Smith hasn't got the balls to send Anasta to Newtown. Is there still time for the Tigers to pull out of the deal ?

the thing that pisses me off about Friend is all those stupid penalties for holding on too long in a tackle. Needs to spend some time at Newtown to get it out of his system. Either that or start fining him for each penalty he conceeds

Why did we buy Morts, he never gets a run and he can cover more than one position. Why wasn't Mitchell on the bench? With the heat in Darwin they should have been allowed 5 on the bench.
                              Pauline Robinson from the "Wall".

He has been dreadful to say the least...

It's his indecision that is killing us the most...

It looks as though he doesn't decide what he's doing (who he's passing to, left or right, passing or kicking) until he's picked the ball up had a look around, run a couple of steps and by then the defence is up in our face and we can't do anything about it. He then rushes a pass and it's usually way off the mark (or goes over the sideline like it did last night)...

If/when he gets the ball to Pearce, he has to grab it over his head or around his toes with opposition forwards in his face.

I watched Danny Buderus closely on Friday night and the speed and quality of service from dummy half was exceptional...

Everyone can see it, I just don't understand why none of the coaching staff have picked up on it (or at least is seems they haven't).

I don't think Anthony Mitchell is the long term solution but perhaps a good wake up call for Friend.
