Tamou is rightfully being considered for Test and Origin jumpers.

Some weeks Kennedy doesn't look like he should be considered for a first grade jumper.

Yeah, he was bloody good. One of their few shining lights. I take it you didn't watch the game? The guy motored forward for 150+ metres, racked up thirty tackles, made a linebreak, stepped the fullback and ran 20 metres for a try most of our outside backs wouldn't score...

I didn't say anything about POS - although I reckon he's generally done a good job. I said what is true: Kennedy is at best inconsistent.

Tamou has been consistently very strong, so I don't see how people figure we made a good call there.

Mate my post wasn't directed at you personally, it was in general. Today some have started bagging POS again. Last week he was a great spotter of talent.

The team, coach everyone deserves a rocket after what happened last night. Difference is I save it for when we lose not when we win.

That's all I've at over the last 7 wks are the stoopid reactionary posts when we win games.

It is not reactionary. I was posting 4 or 5 years ago that Tamou was going to be someone special when he started playing u20's. He was clearly a standout and what impressed me most was he had the body shape to play big minutes. This was the main reason pos did not rate him. He said he had the wrong body shape for NRL football. I have been calling pos a myth for years. IMHO this youth strategy was devised to maintain a lengthy employment without any expectation of results for a considerable amount of time. Who can forget the south Africa debacle. This was nothing

Why blame POS???

After all he didn't force the club to employ him or keep him on.

He's just doing what he thinks is right. I doubt anyone in his position tries to make themselves unemployable by picking the wrong talent.

Every scout in every club makes bad calls and misses good kids or let's them go at some point.

So do you believe when we just bought bought bought that was a good strategy mate???

Don't get me wrong I don't dislike Tamou or your opinion Coqqers, I just don't understand why we shoot the messenger. After all POS, much like Coach Smiff, have been doing their jobs for years now and have been employed by the club to do those jobs. IMO both have operated like they did at other clubs, we knew what we were getting with them, and they really haven't shocked me. Whether I believe they are right for the job is irrespective to that. And I believe if anyone has a grievance it should be with the clubs management, the employers.

Tamou has been killing it all year.
Round 1 Titans: 11 runs, 77m and 35 tackles.
Round 2 Broncos: 14 runs, 117m, 2 offloads and 34 tackles
Round 3 Eels: 16 runs, 155m and 21 tackles
Round 4 Sharks: 19 runs, 180m and 26 tackles
Round 5 Raiders: 17 runs, 145m, 1 offload and 33 tackles
Round 6 Storm: 14 runs, 166m, 1 linebreak, 1 try and 28 tackles
Round 7 Imposters: 18 runs, 160m, 1 linebreak and 17 tackles.

So 4 out of 7 games he has 150+ metres a game. Give me Tamou over JWH anyday of the week.

Yes he is only 18 and locked up untill the end of 2015 along with Tariq Sims and Chris Grevsmuhl, remember that name aswell. In a couple years time we will have by far and away the best backrow in the comp.
