It was a great effort from the boys, just outplayed by a better side. Turpin out of d/h looks dangerous, cheese looks like he's ready for 80 mins, Paulo actually overshadowed Sualii looked dangerous with every touch. Great effort from Mr fix it Hutch, should be a mainstay. Victor the inflictor was a beast out there, but the young guns off the bench impressed me the most. Was hoping to see Allan and Jaxon combining on the right, but im sure that will come. Trust in Robbo, he has the team exactly where he wants them and is gonna time this season to perfection as he always does.

Second half was very poor from us. The Dollfish played with flair, gusto and creativity. Our season can only get better and it will. Tedesco negotiates well with the ref, but I think that he lacks the snarl and bite to be a truly effective captain. We need to appoint a captain that is more of a wartime general, a captain that knows when to throw stones and when to give bones. Yelling at Robbo then you're yelling at the wrong person, I believe. The trainers need to be questioned because our defence is crap and our attack couldn't punch its way through the proverbial. Our talent is heavy but our methods are piss-weak.

We will win the GF this year.

None of us know what happens next but that was an awful performance. Our worst is so many grades below our best. Our Achilles heel seems to be our unwillingness to roll up the sleeves, play a simple game and win ugly. Put the heat on us and we will beat ourselves. What causes that? Is it a shit attitude? Believing our own bullshit? That's what worries and disappoints fans, myself included. It might also be the stuff that makes us unbeatable in September though. So, whilst the hand hovers over the panic button, we won't push it but God we're tempted!

Not season over, we will probably make the 8, JUST, but no chance of winning the comp. We just don't have the depth. A few injuries or suspensions and we are average. Such a shame because I always look forward to watching the footy and the Chooks have been my team since my first memory.
Ofcourse it's great when we win, but even when we lose i am fine if we try our best,
play like a team,
play to our ability,
defend well.
The old saying a star team will beat a team of stars applies to us.
It really disappoints me to see us play like a leaderless rabble who don't have a plan or can't adjust their plan to suit the game.
I want to give credit where it is due, but it's hard to find where to give it when we are supposed to be a star studded team with a super coach and we produce that effort today.
No the season is not over, there is a lot more pain to go through, we need to win 2 out of every 3 games to make the 8.
They are my team, so I'll stick with them, but this year will have to be a huge learning curve.

We are missing both our starting back rowers and JWH, but at the end of the day that was sh!t, we could not play any worse. How many drop balls, we gave them so much ball.

I didn't think we would win the comp before the season started and I've never said we would so why would I bet on it?

Why would I make such a stupid bet? Making the 8 means nothing. If you want a bet make it meaningful, you're not going to take the challenge then, why aren't I surprised.
