    Looks like the Roosters are looking at options other than Thomas Flegler as a potential replacement for JWH.

    PS: I'd rather Soencer over Thomas !

    Yes I saw that in todays paper. Buzz also claims that Young is definitely not going to the Riff this year and if the Knights do agree to release him, it will only be to the Roosters.

      It’s a done deal, been saying this for a few days now, they’ve been talking to him for ages

        Leniu averaging 68m and 13 tackles per game doesn't exactly make him "one of the standout props in the game"... and I know he has only been playing small minutes. That is the point. He is still largely unproven. Flegler on the other hand... edit: Flegler has committed to Dolphins

          Flegler has signed with the Dolphins.

          Spencer may not be running big metres or playing big minutes but there's definitely potential with bringing out a quality forward in him. He's from a well-oiled machine/system (Penriff) and would slot right in with the Roosters. He would suit our aggressive/mongrel/in your face style which we showed glimpses of in the back end of last season.

          I hope we get him ... there's no one really available on the market, I do like Nas from the Storm but he's probably gonna demand big dollars $$$ or look to jump ship and go to Union. No one coming thru the younger grades as yet ... Terrell May still yet to prove himself and the younger pigs like Tuku Hau Tapuha (currently injured), Alex Leapai Jnr, Xavier and De La Salle Va are still quite raw/green and premature (plus that's if they stick around). Perhaps a big Pommie bastard from the Superleague as an option ?

            I think he's overvalued on the market. Panthers hype plus Bulldogs bidding means it's going to require a big offer for a 22yr old who hasn't proven himself to be more than a bit part player off the bench so far.

            He definitely offers something we have lost in SST, low centre of gravity hard running prop so I can see the temptation.

              Fotuaika would be a better prospect but not off contract till 2025

                    Big ???? over this kid as he only averages about 24 minutes. Can he go 40 to 50 minutes.

                      He goes hard, but he’s not nearly big enough for BB.

                        He's about the same size in comparison to 'Sio Siua Taukeiaho'.

                        SST = 184cm height / 108Kg weight

                        Spencer = 183cm height / 110kg weight

                          Bring in the HAAS.

                          You know we want him.

                            Unless we go all out for a big name prop, I think we should promote from within. We have some young big bopper's coming through, I'd rather promote them and have Lodge and Lindsay be the new leaders of the pack. May, V'aa Bros look the goods for me long term. No need to fork out huge portion of the cap to a front rower. I'd say most of the cap money from JWH would go towards giving Lodge a big upgrade anyways.
