Chances are there are people around you who are bipolar or have severe depression but they have found a level of medication that keeps them happy and functioning- you'd be surprised how many people have their own shit to deal with. Back in day(1800s to late 1970s approx) people with bipolar were sent to Callan Park " lunatic asylum "....you were written off as "gone mad".
The reality of the situation is if he doesn't want to or can't play he will be medically retired-and there's a pathway set out by the NRL if that's the case.....but give him a chance to recover-its only rd 3
If i was a betting man id say Angus will be back on the field in a fraction of time it would take for players with ACL injuries.
