  • When was the last Time?

when was the last time that :

A player of our stays down after a high shot (for which we receive plenty of high shots), dont know if we are coached to keep playing fast or we are not smart enough, WE DONT PULL ENOUGH PENALTYS!!!!!!!.

It probably wouldn't matter if we stayed down,we still wouldn't get the penalty..

You honour it'd like to enter this as exhibit number 1..

And why is it the rules change late in a game when it's close.
We also miss out on the home ground advantage penaltys because we don't play at some smaller suburbian park.

It wouldnt matter were we played, we'd still be screwed over.

I agree, I would rather our players take the moral high road then give in to this low tactic, next it will be like Football (soccer) with players diving all over the place....

Geez some of you take this "the refs are out to get us" stuff way to serious. I just want to know do some of you think that the NRL is rigged?
That their is meetings held & that the refs are told if you are refereeing the Roosters make sure they are unfairly targeted ?

The NRL farked up with the stupid interchange rule regarding injured players resulting from foul play.

Coaches take advantage of this and tell players to stay down if they take any kind of contact to the head. The free interchange is just too good of an opportunity. It's sickening to see players stay down as if they are shot, then easily jog off the field, only to come back minutes later.

While we are on topic, the rules regarding head contact are going to ruin our game. As unfortunate as it sounds, head contact just cannot be avoided, especially if you have players driving low, or leaning into tackles to gain an advantage over defenders. I have no problem with blatant swinging arms, but currently half of the high contact penalties are a joke.

We need to accept the fact that head injuries/concussions are part of our game or just convert the game into touch football. I started watching this game because it was a tough, gladiatorial spectacle however i feel that it is slowly creeping toward the ways of NFL and soccer.

Absolutely.. Anyone who questions the integrity of the organization that runs our game (News Ltd) that owns a team (Melbourne Storm), controls the pay tv rights and owns the top selling newspaper with the honourable sports editor Phil Rothfield must be a flaming idiot.
