It could also be $10m including sponsorship and be back after 2027 to replace Teddy. We don't know.

10 million for a fullback when the coffers were supposedly bare in that code is nuts.
Wallabies get pushed around the park in the forwards by the better teams, he isn't going to save them on that front.
Can't see him knocking back an offer of that magnitude and staying unfortunately.

There is no use debating if premierships or money are important to him.
If any of you were as good a player as him saying you would stay for half the amount to win a premiership with the roosters are delusional.
They offered me that sort of money to leave the roosters I would be gone in a heartbeat, you have at most 10 years as a professional sportsman so you need to take the money when its that high.
Is that the sort of deal he would want though? The long term nature of it goes against everything he has done previously and if he follows the SBW model (which he seems to have been doing) would he not back himself to be worth even more in a couple of seasons time? I'm just spit-balling and have absolutely no idea what he is thinking obviously

          Manu to 5/8
          Joey to centre

If somebody offers you a $10 million contract, I think you take it, look at taumalolo, didn’t he sign the same contract? He isn’t playing anywhere near that sort of coin for the last couple of years, and was even starting from the bench.

form, injuries personal life can all change pretty quickly, would be hard to knock it back, and the way contracts seem to be easily broken these days, there probably isn’t too much risk if you are offered something significantly bigger.

                Absolutely!

plus he is still so young so could end this contract and jump back in to the nrl… you are long time retired

Joseph is a winner. I doubt he leave the Roosters to play Union for the pathetic Wallabies who have only had 2 golden periods in the last 60 years and incidentally have only played 4 World Cup finals since it’s inception in ‘87. The Wallabies are a myth.

Yeah mabye but its a huge amount of money if of course that is be the offer. The question is what you would do if you were 19 years of age and somebody offered you 10 million Australian dollars to play a game of football?

At first glance 10 million dollars is an offer that is too good to refuse, but I hope the young man thinks about the big picture.

Playing Rugby League, especially at Easts, will be far more rewarding for him in the long run. By the time he retires he will be set for life and the connections he will make at the Roosters will ensure a strong financial future.

                          > But alongside him, Parramatta Eels centre Will Penisini, Manly flyer Tolu Koula and Melbourne Storm enforcer Nelson Asofa-Solomona are wanted by RA.

IMO the reality is that they'll pay overs for guys of this calibre and Sua'ali'i will be like 'I'm worth more than NAS (who can't scrummage anyway so would be a pretty shyte prop) and you probably wanna double-check his eligibility anyway coz he was a bro last time I checked.

JS would be great for them, but IMO there's lower hanging fruit. Who's that guy that went over around the same time as Izzy and was a gun despite being a nobody in the NRL? There will be somebody with yawnion experience whose size/athleticism will be enough to dominate, even if they're not very smart (Dell had zero rugby IQ)...

NAS would be a lock or a blind side flanker.

Marika Koriebeke has done very well since jumping across from league although I think he grew up playing yawnion.
