We have been getting a mention tonight which is nice.
Fair play to Cameron Smith who said the 2018 Roosters are the first side that comes to mind as far as dominant GF teams go because we were "unstoppable".

Real shame the NRL is having only one team in the GF. I reckon we would have beaten Penrith at full strength but we let our emotions kill our chance. Terrible GF a complete whitewash and no contest. I predicted a 30 point win so it was expected. Eels are not even 1st grade material.

When Salmon ran on all I could think was that Ricky Stuart would be pissed that the weak gutter dog will be getting a premiership ring

Some great stories to tell as well, Cronk playing with the broken scapula. The tackle on muntz on the tryline.

Maubs playing with the 7 on his back.

Also Maubs going off 13 minutes into the 2019 GF.

That last try to seal it in the 72nd? minute. Defending to the death.

              Unbelievable.

Against Slater, Munster and Smith... not Gutho, Moses and Mahoney.

The 2018 Storm would beat this Eels team 30 nil.

                  2018-2019 Roosters >>> 2021-2022 Panthers

The sheer awfulness of the comp the past two years has inflated Penrith's record (still a great team).

If the 2019 Roosters were also refereed like the 2022 Panthers then they also only lose 3-4 games all year.

The Cleary family need to be careful walking around with chins like that......they can poke an eye out.

We should be able to see the best teams fight it out in the GF but this was an absolute mismatch. Absolute rubbish.

Ch9 Commentators saying one of the best GF defence's ever....pfffttt what rubbish. Eels had nothing.

What about the dismantling of a crazy good Storm team & the adversity we went through to beat a tough Canberra team with a sin bin & no possession.

Thankfully the season is over & all the cringy commentry rubbish with it. Bring on 2023 injury free.

and if we'd played parra tonight and beat them 28 12 no guarantee one of our blokes would have won the cc but it is what it is and we do alright

                            Haha, give it to DCE!

I’d love to see a nut trucker win the medal. Leota, JFH and To’o were all outstanding

Eel have lost the first halves in their 3 grand final appearances a combined total of 52-0.

let’s hope we don’t see parra near another grand final unless it’s against us

yeah but we blew our chance by losing our cool against Souths.
