  • Thank you!

Thank you Team, Coach, staff. Not the result anyone wanted but grateful for the year’s efforts, especially the run home to qualify for the 8. No one deliberately runs out to not win games… as they say, shizz happens!

Looking forward to what a new season, new year, new campaign brings in 2023! Rest up, reset, prepare to battle again.

      Well said.

I think we'll be primed and very hungry in 2023. Sam Walker and Suaalii will be so much better and Brandon Smith is a massive addition.

Only injury and suspension will stop us (again).

i want to win it every year. if we won five in a row i'd like to make it 6 but 3 in the last decade is a good return.

always grateful to the club and in particular to the players and coach of this team

100% we do… the goal never changes, but we’re only human… learn from our failures, prepare right & get a bit of luck with injuries & officiating, then there’s nothing stopping us. I was shitty too about the end to 2022, imo we were very close again,… I’m sure the players, Coach & staff feel as shitty, more than we like to think… we can either keep kicking stones or turn up next season & kick butt!

Crap year considering the talent we have.

I agree but 3 out of 10 with the side we have had is a grade E.

With the squad we have we should have won the comp. There is a reason we were amongst the favourites in March.

Judging by the mood at the awards night the season was a big failure. We progressed further last season.

But like most on here, I always appreciate their efforts and win lose or draw I’ll always be a Rooster.

The coach I fail to put on a pedestal as it can lead to expectation and disappointment. His dribble thru out the season was punishing at times and no better example of it at the end of season function speech aimed at our sponsors. He may have convinced them but not me.

a quarter of a century ago it felt like we might never win a comp again. given our roster and injuries i reckon 2 premierships would have been a fair return - beating melbourne in 2018 with cronk as a passenger was theft

An excellent season, as usual. You can't win every year. The sort of year we had this year, fans of other clubs would pray for. Made the finals yet again, not the top 4 as usually do but still made the 8, down on troops, but still, very much a season to be proud of as a Roosters fan.
