I think we were good for the first 20 mins then when the second sin bin came around we lost the plot completely. Angus drops the ball, we give away a penalty and all of a sudden they score with 11 players. I do wonder how the game pans out if Suaali'i passes that ball to the unmarked Tupou. We score, they probably still go down to 11 because Milne was committed to the tackle but the game went pear shaped from there. A potential 16-6 lead with the chance to reset might have led to a different result all together

What was the gist of Robbo's dressing down of the team though?

It was ridiculous really to continue having these ongoing running stoushes with Souths players though - play football.

It's about time they treated games against Souths the same as any other game against any other team.

Too much carry-on and what not which derails the game and gives them a leg up.

Beat them with brains by playing footy.

Well he’s absolutely kidding himself if he thought that decimated lineup should have won the game in the second half… did we even have anyone left on the bench at halftime?

The players were valiant but simply outmanned… indeed I was surprised we were even able to make a game of it in the end

Once again this is fact from one of my best mates son who is employed with the club 24/7 basically. Said he has never heard Robbo speak like this let alone their were kids in the room also

Will they learn for next time is the question - sure a softening up period within the rules then play footy - I hope Robbo takes the emotions out of the equation and treats games vs Souths as any other game against any other team

If Robbo said that then he was spot on. We got sucked in to a pissing contest and lost sight of the goal. We were on top easily after 20 minutes, Souths outsmarted us and we let them.

I hope he did tear shreds off the players.

The injury curse was always going to make it difficult. But just for good measure our most experienced players totally lost their minds out there. The lack of onfield discipline from our supposed leaders was laughable.

Last time it was Arrow who reeled us in. This time it was Tom Burgess and we took the bait.

Robbo would rightfully be filthy and won't be giving out any free passes for being a "legend".

A repeat of that performance in 2023 will see some players cut loose. It's that ruthless mentality that won us b2b titles in 2018/2019.

It may even happen a year early. Robbo's end of year review will be very interesting.
