IMO more than half the sin bins that they have copped over the years have been because they are wearing a roosters jersey, not because of the on field offence commited. Look how many times JWH has had to front up to the judiciary only to have his suspension either down graded or waved completely. I'm not saying that the sin bins arent frustrating. But rather that often they aren't warranted. Case in points Rads love tap the other day. For me the pros of having both Rads and JWH in our 17 out weigh the cons.

Why not give JWH and Rads free reign to target players, in a controlled aggressive manner , from the onset of the game?
And you know that they only need to do this in 2 club rounds per year.
Let them target key players in the opposition side.
That way , they can be a bit more subtle about what they are doing, and pick their moments.
Instead of what is currently happening- which is to go out under instruction to play fairly.
And then when the opposition riles them up , by taking out key players in the Roosters side, JWH and Radley retaliate, and lose control.
They lose control and everyone in the NRL, the coach, and all the Rooster fans are pointing the finger at them.
It might be a refreshing change to see them walk the fine line in a controlled manner, rather than appearing to be lunatics, by taking the bait, every time.

Rads is almost at the stage of being released. Send him to the Knights in exchange for Bradman Best.

We smashed Souffs without Rads and got smashed by Souffs without Teddy.
And I'm the fool?
Only a clown would put Rads in the top 10 players in the game.
He's aligned himself with England because he knows he'll never get a game over Yeo or Murray in a Blues jersey.
As for your suggesting he's aligned with the Poms because he knows he cant get a game for the Blues now or ever, that shows that yes you are a fool mate. As if Rads would have given up so easy if Origin was what he really wanted? has already been in the squad with Freddy etc. Undoubtedly he would play Origin in the next 2 years if injury free. You doubt his very character by calling him a liar when he says he's playing for the Poms because of his old man.

As for how good Rads is, well yes there's no doubt that he's a world class player at his best. An inspiration and a real point of difference. But we haven't seen enough of that over the past couple of years. Hence why he isn't close to being a top 10 player in the game.
He has serious anger management issues on the field.
Souffs clearly targeted him from the start, knowing that he's a hothead who can be easily riled up which has thrown the entire team off their game in previous match ups vs Souffs. Mission accomplished again.
I don't see why he can't play with a more controlled aggression. Two of his best games were the 2018 and 2019 GFs. And it had nothing to do with smashing blokes or getting involved in niggling the opposition. But everyone to do with being a brilliant link player, ball runner and mobile defender.
You better believe that Robbo will have been his harshest critic in the sheds post game. He'd be ****ing livid with what he saw on that field. And Souffs would be laughing their asses off over how easy it was to throw Rads and JWH off their games.

Forget the ref. This is a leadership issue. Who as a team do we follow JWH or Robbo, Rads or Robbo? We had 13 to their 11 yet they scored! The on field ‘leaders’ let the club and fans down by buying into the con. I just can’t believe a team of such great players forgot they were playing an elimination final and just wanted to fight.

No one is questioning Radley’s talents, he is a super footballer..
The issue with Rads is he gets baited by opposition players too easily which becomes a weakness for the team, he also has the propensity for a high shot or running in full throttle in defence causing potential concussion for himself!
For Rads to be effective we need him on the field, otherwise he becomes a major liability..Last edited by Lydon; 09-16-2022, 11:51 PM.

I heard him on a podcast or something recently saying "If you want to win comps, you have to have at least a couple of guys who will get it over the opposition pack physically" And he referred to it being Jared and him. He paid great homage to Jared.
All that said, I wouldn't swap him for any other forward in the comp.
