            Make sure you enjoy this iteration of the Roosters NRLW side because as the competition expands further and this team gets ripped apart you won't see a team this good again.

              good point fletch. personally i think they might be expanding too quickly but time will tell.

              great half of footy from our girls - some really slick passing and line running. jos kelleher looking good - i can't see us keeping her, temara and mcgregor in the same team next year.

                  So finishing 1st and winning every game, gets no advantage to a team that just won it’s first game today, other than a home game?

                  I know it is only 6 teams, but surely they could of found some benefit for the team finishing 1st?

                    Home game? We're playing the semi in Brisbane.

                          my fear is that another club will think she can fit into its plans

                            Broncos copped it for years. I don’t think they played a single home game while winning it three times in a row?

                            It is a bizarre decision to play it in Brisbane with no Queensland clubs there. Taking it to Newcastle or even back to the central coast would’ve made sense

                              The Bronco's benefited though by having over the cap squads in 2018/2019/2020/2021 - they have a points system in the NRL - 130 points for the 24 player squad - Broncos had 13 internationals and 6 SOO players in that squad of 24 during those 3 seasons and I think close to that in the earlier comp this season - Upton and Boyle were playing for the Broncos. - That's 178 points for those 19 players alone

                              Sure with only a 4 team comp in 2018/2019/2020 and players part time professionals with jobs outside of footy and family commitments it would be difficult to relocate to another state but they should have capped the 17 player team each week to meet the maximum 130 point player system

                              Not an exhaustive list of the points allocations - some of these are
                              • 10 points if they played for the Jillaroos or Kiwi Ferns;
                              • 8 points if they played State of Origin for NSW or Queensland;
                              • 4 points if they represented the PM’s XIII against the PNG Orchids in Port Morseby
                              • 4 points - A player who participated in the preceding seasons NRLW Premiership
                              • 3 points if they played at the National Championships.
                              • 1 point - All other players who do not fit any of the above criteria.

                              4 matches will be played on Sunday 25th September at Suncorp

                                They will lose a few one would say but have Corban Baxter and Brydie Parker coming back in 2023

                                I know when they lost the 6 players to the Knights there were questions about their competitiveness but sometimes that results in opportunities for others.

                                Keilee Joseph in the run on side each week instead of from the bench and Otesa Pule and Kalosipani Hopoate from the Premiership winning Tarsha Gale cup side not only obtaining NRLW Contracts but being in the 17 each week .

                                Throw in up and comers in Jada Taylor/ Jasmine Strange/ Angelina Teakaraanga Katoa/Shannon Rose as well who have all had a taste of NRLW and the future is bright.

                                Astute signings of Destiny Brill / Shaniah Power/Sam Bremner/Jayme Fressard/Chante Temara complimented the squad

                                Roosters have a fair set up for the Women's game with more to do of course via Tarsha Gale Cup (Under 19's) / Central Coast Roosters in the NSW Womens premiership and Country Womens Championship which the Central Coast Roosters won.

                                Need comps/development pathways from age 12 upwards to Tarsha Gale Cup (under 19's) and maybe something in between Tarsha Gale Cup and the State Based Comp which one would assume would become a reserve grade comp when the NRLW expands to 17 teams.

                                A number of other players from Tarsha Gale Cup this season to name a few would be NRLW ready in 2023 for instance

                                Milly Lupo
                                Wilson Twins( Leilani and Anneka)
                                Tayla Montgomery
                                Iesha Duckett
                                Zoe Cass
                                Ally Bullman
                                Maddie Binding
