I am not saying that he is the best in his position at this moment in his career but if he got chosen to play SOO last year, then how about the opinion of those? Yes I know last year Dugan was injured, Hayne was crap, but you can make as many excuses as you like and bag Mini but I feel your quick to jump on someone elses opinion(that I don't know off) and not see how good he still is, without being the best. There aren't that many options out there that are free to sign. If Stewart comes here next, then we can all discuss whom to put in #1 but for now, mini is all we have and for you to say 'He is shit' is a little disrespectful to a player who has given a lot to the club.

Id say the vast majority of Real Roosters supporters dont want Mini to do anything but end his career in the RWand B...when hes ready hes a bloody legend and puts in 100% every week.

It's all good and well to enjoy Mini's performance tonight but to suggest that he has been playing well enough not to warrant questioning regarding his position in the team is ridiculous. I really hope that tonight was not an abberation because everything else aside he is no doubt our safest fullback option. But this is the first game for 12 months where he looked threatening whatsoever in attack. I believe that's because someone finally had a word in Smith's ear and told him that every other team in the comp runs set plays to get their fullbacks in better scoring positions. If this new offensive system stays in place and we keep that structure that helped us win tonight then I'm all for keeping Mini at fullback because I believe it suits his strengths. But if next week we revert back to simply adlib attack with no set plays close inside the opposition 40 then Mini will again be ordinary and his strengths redundant and yes I will be calling for him to be replaced by Alofa who's allround game would suit an unstructured attacking style far better than Mini's. Hopefully that answers your question.

Playing in front of all his GF winning team mates would have given him a boost. Sticky being at the match would have given him a boost as well with SOO coming up.

I am one that feels Mini's best days are behind him & that he should be moved on at the end of the year. Better to let them go with 1 more year in them then to hold on to them for 1 year to long.
