After watching it a few times I am convinced it was a premeditated tactic. They couldn't beat us with a full team and the only way was to take him out. They tried the same to Suaalii. Refs were never going to send a player off in a finals game so at worst 10 in the bin. They were probably laughing when Klein saw mitigating circumstances which I am fcuked if I know what they were.

Yep poor old Teddy gets smashed back to factory settings and Burgss gets penalised and put on report, so Burgess goes sweet very next tackle the same on Lodge, should've been sent off.
Remember Robbos circus music speech last year at the presser, the Nrl vowed to change things to protect key players from being taken out.

Unfortunately for us it worked. Demetriou basically using Burgess as a pawn to take our best player out!!!! I'm sure this tactic was discussed during the week after the impact it had on their own best player been ruled out in round 25 with HIA (of course in our case it was an accident) MRC better rule him out for next week...that's all I'm going to say..

Unfortunately Jarrad has thug elements in his game that are unsportsmanlike. When he does things like that he lets the whole team down, gives away penalties and gets sin binned. Don’t know why he does these things if he really wants to win.
