  • How’s the new pad?

Would love to hear from those who made it to tonight’s game and got to see first hand what the new home stadium is like?

    Unfortunately I couldn’t get there.

Not expecting a response until after the match but it looks awesome.

It looks great on tv, like the sound would bounce around the stadium. Grat lighting.

I feel like a home game next week is a big advantage now

Not bad. Chairmans lounge gave me some free Dannemans and a cognag. Brought my best suit and am living the dream.

There's obviously new cameras installed purely for the Bunker.

Fark's sake quite trying to 'show it all' by replaying everything a million times.

The faaaaaar.... how does 'Trell keep the challenge there? He's wrong, onfield call is kept and 'insufficient evidence to overturn' means he keeps it?

        Weird.

Thats what I said to my wife. They challenge it, they say we touch it, video shows no touch, bunker says inconclusive???

Like I said, we have to beat our opponents and the ref.

But it's funny how they never actually win any of them because they don't know how to articulate themselves properly. Teddy is excellent at them because he knows his stuff. They are unlimited if you keep winning the challenges like a week or two back..

Loved the red, white and blue lights. It looks like stained glass when all lit up..and we were all complaining about too many blue seats..can't see them when there are bottoms on them anyway..

                70% Roosters fans they estimated..

Loved it. Wish the roof extended a bit more. In the rain and full house we will be drenched

Just got home from the game. My thoughts:
                      • Lots of food options and lots of queues for food and drink
                      • More lavatories than in the old stadium (I think), but biased to 1s, not 2s (speaking as a man)
                      • A CC & Dry in a can costs $13
                      • Atmosphere was fantastic
                      • Lighting brilliant, sound system subject to echo
                      • Concourse offers a good view of the field
                      • Seats are only as big as they need to be to seat a normal-sized person
                      • The angle of incline means your view is not obstructed by the people sitting in front of you
                      • Some people are pigs and have no self-respect
                      • In summary, it's very good and worth going to a game.

Loved the “Welcome to the EAST” graphics. Beautiful stadium and great atmosphere

If you are sitting in the concourse it’s no different than the old stadium. I suspect the upper tiers would be better than the old top tier. Ammenities are better. Half price drinks were nice, especially with full strength craft beers. Couldn’t give a **** about stupid light up goal posts or what it looks like from the outside.

the specific seats the roosters shafted us with are ****ing shit house and we’ll be canceling our memberships if they don’t reassign us

Oh also the “all seats under cover” line is full of shit. First 8 rows all got wet
