  • Pearce and Carney. Again

Wonder whether these two will play Origin together this year?

Part of me hopes we get to see the old combo firing one more time.

If only to remind us of what could of been.

Nothing like another good kick in the balls to remind you you're an Easts fan.

I'm more likely to be picked as Origin half, B.P.

Pearce does not deserve to be anywhere near a blues jersey this season.

Mullen and Maloney would be my halves for the blues, with Carney a bolter for the 6 perhaps.

our best option would be pearce and maloney to get the ball rolling for13?

Don't count Campese out. His strong running game is highly regarded by those looking to solve the Blues halves problems. If he continues to play like he did last week he is a very good chance. Also, with Gidley moving to half for the noughts, don't discount the slectors making that mistake either.

It would be funny if Carney and Campese were picked for the halves, with Todders in the 7.

                Won't happen though.

I like that combination a lot. Campese is a very strong player.

Mitchell Pearce is Ricky's incumbent No.7, he rates him very highly & started a loyalty culture thingy last year, that he will be keen to continue. Jnr Jnr will play No.7 SOO this year & be a major part of our successful campaign in defeating the Maroon cheating bastards!
