Just listened to Annesley. My take-aways were...

- 'I am not mentioning NAS or Munster here!!! We are just being theoretical!!! But... we're allowed to send people letters saying "no charges have been laid but next time you do a grade 1, it'll be a grade 2"'. Code: NAS and Munster have received such letters (possibly) and they mean jack all.

- Souffs scammed the HIA rules and got away with it. I'm not a doctor so am not suggesting there were or were not head injuries though!!!

Fark Annasley and fark the NRL

Sometimes i wish I didn't love our Roosters so much so I could be done with the sport and stop spending my hard earned on the game. I love the Roosters too much for that to happen...but fark it crosses my mind at times

i thought his defence of not charging kaufusi was fair enough - it was pretty much the same tackle style as lindsay's but he doesn't catch tauks' leg between his own body and the ground.
he said he wouldn't have had a problem if munster had been charged for the hit on sammy but it was close and he didn't have a problem with him not being charged. from memory we didn't get a penalty?!
if he said anything about jwh's sin binning i missed it but it seems silly that someone can be binned for an action which isn't going to smash someone's face while others don't get sin binned for actions that have smashed teeth

The MRC is fundamentally flawed. A group of individuals review every game every week, you think they'd have it right by now, but still choose to ignore instances of blatant foul play. I am unsure whether so many anomalies exist when reviewing the other club's games, however I don't see how all other fans think the roosters get a leg up in all their games. Subconscious bias I suppose.

The game is too quick for one ref, it was introduced as a cost cutting measure by vlandys during covid but I agree let's go back to two.
Pathetic from Annesley saying insufficient force from Munsters elbow on Sam's head, its a cop out.
Instead of applauding Robbos don't lay down stance the officials and hierarchy encourage players to flop out of water like a dead fish to extract a penalty and get opposition players sin binned or placed on report.
Im glad Payten highlighted souths HIA one legged stork test everytime they have to defend a set from a restart near their line, strangely never seems to happen when they are on the attack.
One would think as a game and example for young players league headquarters would prefer the roosters way instead of rewarding devious tactics but what would I know.
