What about the tackle on McManus, two player take him to the ground but hold his upper torso up, then Todd "biggest grub in the game" Lowrie then smashes McManus in the lower back almost breaking him in two. It really hurt him and could have done permanent damage.

Melbourne are a blight on the game, and should be eradicated forever. They try and cheat and bend the rules at every opportunity, I am all for being cutting edge, developing a winning culture and trying to stay ahead of the competition but Bellamy and his band of dual contract signers are down right grubby cheats.

They go on about Melbourne's great goal line defence, but you watch, it's like Dragons circa 2010 (i.e. they are never on side) so by the time the 1st receiver gets the ball the defence is in their face.

I hate the Storm and all they stand for, and I also hate the corrupt referees that allow them to get away with them (funny they are both run by News Ltd). I find it amazing that Ryles has gone from being one of the most penalised and targeted players in the NRL to almost Saint like (and don't give me no crap about their discipline being better than ours).

spot on. it is begining to anger me watching the storm go around. cheats is the only way to describe them. 2 books and the refereeing aside at the moment, the fact that all of the 'tackling' styles that have been banned in the last few years that have all been banned were all pioneered by melbourne (chicken-wing, work on the head etc). the moment that summed up that game and the ridiculous advantage the storm were getting was when the knights were attacking and threw a loose pass out the back which was batted back in field by mcmanus before a storm player collected it and was pushed over the sideline. the scrum is awarded to the storm. replays reveal not even a semblence of a knock-on or forward pass; gidley wonders over and inquires how the ref came to that conclusion. he is not only penalised but marched 10 metres. they score directly off the back of it. theyve got to be joking
