To stop any calls of bias.
Just a thought.
Regardless, he can piss off.

Like I posted in the other thread, I watched Bill Harrigan squirm through an interview on NRL Daily last night with John Gibbs. Harrigan said he blames himself for not coaching Rod correctly and takes responsibility for the mistakes. That bought me absolutely no comfort at all whatsoever."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

Bennett seeks an explanation Greg Prichard March 28, 2012 Newcastle coach Wayne Bennett is covering all the angles heading into Friday night's big game against unbeaten competition leaders Melbourne at AAMI Park. Bennett yesterday contacted referees' boss Bill Harrigan to ask about the controversial try that was awarded to Storm forward Kevin Proctor in the first half of the 44-4 win over Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park last Sunday. Presumably, the master coach wanted to establish what was legal and what wasn't as he prepared the Knights. Harrigan told the Herald he had informed Bennett the try shouldn't have been awarded. "A Melbourne player runs into the outside shoulder of a defender and knocks him back a bit as Proctor runs into a space," Harrigan said. "The Roosters player then recovers to get to Proctor, but is too late to stop him from getting over the line and scoring a try. "The defender has been checked, and would have had a significantly better chance of stopping the try had that not happened. If you look at the guidelines, you will see that I added last year that if the scoring of a try is assisted by something like that then you take the try away. "It was the wrong decision to award the try, and the video referee [Rod Lawrence] has been demoted from first grade this week. Wayne wanted to know about the Proctor try, and I gave him that explanation." "For him to make an error, it means I have let him down to some degree in the coaching," Harrigan said. Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy said yesterday he expected Newcastle to be very hard to beat.
