Turns out he's on the reality show the block and he's in trouble for being the getaway driver for drug kingpin Mustafa Baluch.

After I read the article it says that Omar did not know that Baluch would cut of his ankle monitor or make a run for it.

Nor was he charged for any wrongdoing or suspected of any wrongdoing

I only really know about him because Fox did an article suggesting we'd signed him to replace RTS. Since he'd been an NYC superstar and had just come off a $1m a season contract playing Japanese rugby, I got my hopes up about him possibly being a unicorn signing.

Good to see he's found a way forward as a carpenter and has been popular on The Block (which I've never watched). This closes the enigma of 'where is Slime Ankle there days?' in my brain. I'm gonna accept that he lived happily ever after.
