    SQUAD v TIGEPIES

Another test passed. No so long ago we were destroying on this mob at every single opportunity. Over a couple of seasons we were averaging 50+ points. This is exactly the kind of game that we weren't delivering in up to now this year. It's time to set that right and put a cricket score on this hapless, basket case of a team.

IMO we have them covered right across the park. Is their a single player in their side that you'd swap for one of ours? I don't think so.

The side is unchanged, so it looks like we wait for the Storm game for SST & Collins return. Our pack still looks awesome compared to theirs, and if we can't put this lot to the sword then we can forget about September.

Roosters by plenty. I reckon 40+

    GO EASTS !!

Interesting to see Naquima at 18th man, maybe whoever called out Teddy getting a rest was right.

Joey to FB and Lil JoJo to centre with Kevin on the wing.

Gildart in the centres perhaps after his 5 try effort for the Bears vs Knights in NSW Cup - equaled Grantley Bennett's 5 tries in match for North Sydney back in 1937.

Will have something to prove to Wests Tigers

A form side like the Roosters taking on the last placed Tigers.
All my mind can say is the Roosters will win easily but there lies the problem.
The Chooks have to think they are playing a top 4 side & that their season is on the line.
The Chooks have to get the 2 points & win good to keep this momentum going.
I don’t want to think about the week after until this game is over & won.
          Go the Roosters.

failing send offs or the like i can't see us dropping this one. the canberra win last week means we're no guarantee to qualify for the 8 so we'll be switched on

They were never going to play against the Tigers.

Club has confirmed they are in full contact training so tbf to whoever said that they would be playing if the opposition was worthy.

Did you watch it or just looked at the stats? In his 5 tries he ran maybe 15m on average for each and beat 2 tackles in total. Three of them were pretty much handed to him on a plate, the other 2 he beat one defender in a situation where he had every right to beat him. That effort was no cause to put him into 1st grade contention.

Not necessarily Collins is going to be doing a Keary type return to play protocol and will continue training until his designated timeframe has passed (for Keary it was 6 weeks between games)

Wouldn't be surprised if the earliest we see Collins again is round 25 against the Vermin.

Sure, they may go that path, if it were the grand final Lindsay would have been named, he is in full contact training.....you know what I mean.

Obviously there is a reason he is in the 22 player squad though

We might put Kevvie and Gildart in and give the four ex-Tigers a run together.

They don't want to undo the season over this one - talk of a cricket score on here is hopefully not what the players are thinking or will play like vs Tigers. - They have a number of things to improve on going forward to reach that 80 minute performance that will be required and they are yet to produce.

The off the boil/lapse in intensity after the fast starts need to be addressed - the errors rack up during these periods - incomplete sets/errors/missed tackles and ill discipline etc.
