It's all tactical by Solly.Originally posted by bondi.boy View Post
No.
Souths now have a "lucrative contract" at Accor Stadium...and would have an "inferior contract" at Allianz Stadium.
A gap, in other words, between what they are paying now and what they would have to pay at Allianz.
Sports Minister said at meeting he would be open to Souths pursuing a move to Allianz, but it must come "at no expense to the taxpayer".
ie: no discount, Souths would have to pay "retail" the same as all hirers.
Souths would have to absorb the gap.
He'll get a cheaper deal from the Accor mob to remain there - GOOD!!!

I took your post to read that we get a discount and Souths would not.Originally posted by Headless Chook View Post

I read the DT article as no one gets any discounts, including Souths if they pursue relocation.
That there is a hiring fee/price, and everyone must pay it so taxpayers are not out of pocket.
I imagine all contracts would have to be disclosed in financial/annual reports of the Trust (ie: the state govt) etc.

If Souths are allowed by the Trust (Govt) to just walk in without a cash payment equal to any Roosters' funding for the construction...the Roosters should sue for their money back.Originally posted by Nathan Aboud View PostLook...... Lets put this to bed, they didn't put any money into the funding to the construction nor and interest in a agreement so simply.........

I think the only money the Roosters contributed was to their Centre of Excellence/Training Facility at the ground. They won't let Souffs anywhere near that.Originally posted by bondi.boy View Post

I looked for tickets about 2 weeks ago and it already said there were none available.Originally posted by TheLoneRooster View PostThe game seems to be a sell-out. I just tried to buy a ticket and found there's none to be had. LOL@souffs.
Commentary will go with an 80% Souths crowd regardless of the true numbers.
