All the more reason for people to start living and behaving more mindfully towards our fellow human beings..

RIP, once a rooster , always a rooster. So young makes you cherish every day that goes past and you wake up amongst loved ones.

Beautifully said. I've always noted so many great players were at both Easts & Parra (my childhood team)..

again, this week is very sad...

What is it with Lebanese and parramatta? My late father as well as my brother, sister, niece, son in law all support the eels. I was the only roosters fan and thankfully I was able to raise three out of my seven kids to follow my love for the RWB, the remaining 4( all bulldogs fans) Ive already disowned

They follow where the churches are located. Harris Park for the Parra fans, Punchbowl for the Canterbury fans and Redfern for Souths. Then we had the one who played for Balmain in the 80's who went to school at Holy Cross Ryde so I used to just tag along and sit on the hill at Leichardt with the cousins. Mum had cousins as board members for Canterbury & Souths and my brother in law's late uncle was a founding member of the Eels and they wore black armbands when he passed. I got into grand finals for free in the 80's thanks to his kindness to Mum & I after Dad passed.

Then I became a grown up (sort of) and ran away and joined the circus which is Easts..so I'm the Lone Rooster like our poster on here with the same name. That's why I've adopted so many of you on here as my Roosters family..my own are still waiting since 1986..

Everyone in my family is very upset as Paul did great things for many clubs and he's a quiet achiever like I said before and a very underrated one at that. This game on Saturday is just going to be a bit of a sombre occasion now. But fitting we play one another so soon..bloody shame this news is...just awful..

RIP Green a very clever little half-back and a premiership coach, I was surprised he didn't get picked up by some of those struggling clubs as a coach after leaving the Cowboys.
