I think we have made some sort of deal with a good player for next season. I am not talking about the 2 that have been mentioned in the papers a lot.

He is the type of player that we need, an excellent player in a position we are rubbish in.

But I wonder what this guy must be thinking now watching how our team is playing. Would our woeful performances make him want to change his mind? It would probably only be natural for him to think that after what we have dished up.

I also have extreme doubts that he would come here next year to be coached by smith. I just can't see him being that crazy. If I am right, then I wonder what that means about smith's future next year.

I am not sure why a player would sign for our Club with the knowledge that Smith is our Coach,and Elliot his assistant???Unless they are washed up and need a holiday ala Riddell..
Whoever this new guy is,if he is smart he will sign elsewhere,or wait til Smith gets punted!
