I have said this before Ricky Stuart is a useless coach. I could have coached the 2002 chooks side and we would have still won. What has Ricky done since, especially with the quality of players he has had at he's disposal, give it up Ricky, you weak gutter dog coach

oh just about that same chooks side finished 6 th in 01 and were bundled out by newcastle 40 odd to 6 ...but murray couldn't coach either...

It was the work done from the previous coaches that got the side to the 2002 gf, not Stuart. You don't win a premiership in one year, it takes years and a plan for success. Maybe you should go on the faders forum this is the chooks forum, and Stuart is still a dickhead.

Not trying to argue with ya mate but Robbo won a premiership in his first year here. Didn’t take him years of planning.

In theory, you are right though that it was a few years of solid work and recruiting which led to that premiership however the success wasn’t there with Murray or Gould. It was under Ricky. Someone had to get them to that next step and it was him.

Its easy to lay the boot into someone who wears their heart on their sleeve as it leaves them very open criticism from those who only comment in hindsight but knowing Ricky personally, I can tell you he is wonderful human being and what you see is what you get. Right or wrong, he’s just an honest character who simply calls it as he sees it and I have no problem with that at all.

Would I have him as coach of the Roosters again? No but we could do a lot worse.
