“Playing No.6 on the left side is something I really enjoy and I feel comfortable,” Keary said. “I have obviously done it for a long time over there and I just know my role and I know how to get it done.”

“I said in the pre-season that at some point he is going to take over that role and he is more the natural No.7 type player,” Keary said. “We are definitely in a better place the way it is at the moment.

“He can feel his way through it a bit more rather than trying to do it in a position that he is not as comfortable in, in the No.6 jersey.”

Keary is still playing the dominant half role anyway, which he should having more experience than walker. Robbo addressed this in the last presser off the back of some shrewd questioning from a journo.

6 or 7, left or right Keary is still playing more as a halfback than walker. Whatever they are doing seems to be working better now than earlier in the season. The changes are subtle as Robbo alluded.

Keary should never have been moved from 6....all our "lethal left side" needed was a new "Latrell" at centre.

It sounds like it was Robbo's plan all along just a timing issue. Many questioned/criticised Robbo on many of his decisions but yet here we are. Everyone back on the Robbo bandwagon. Well done all. TIT

It's was interesting to hear Robbo mention in the post game presser when quizzed about the difference between Keary playing 6 & 7 something like 'that try on the right wouldn't have happened without it', referring to Keary's time on the right early in the season. So I don't think Robbo would see it as a failed experiment, more perhaps he feels it has served it's purpose and he's now reverted to the optimum configuration.

They believe we all should be entitled to an opinion, as long as it is one that they agree with. I don't always agree with you but that is what makes this place interesting.
