    He should also be ashamed.
You don't win premierships by having your best players suspended.
I thought it was one game which he would probably have missed with his sternum injury.

But if him missing is the reason we will not make the Top 8 then we were never going to make it.

Heck, I even copped that treatment when I played schoolboy footy years ago.
But the fact that it was such a prolonged cheap shot (5 seconds at least) , the ref picked it up and blew the penalty.
JWH should know better, he knows he won't get away with that.
As for Egan Butcher's shot, I loved it.
It shows the guy has a bit of needle, some mongrel in him.
You don't win premierships by being a wallflower.
I love it & people on here think that JWH is not a grub.
Robbo doesnt tell him to stop it either because he loves it also.
Bob Fulton was one of the grubbiest players to ever play the game.

Anyway, no more fines for JWH...he's used up his quota.
Next time it's an automatic suspension.
          *
Looked like he tried to talk to Fulton after the game and Fulton brushed him.
          *
I recommend educating JWH in the ways of having thick skin like a crocodile, restraint, self-control and wisdom.
Train him to just smile and laugh when opposition players hurl insults, vile insults, racist insults, gender insults...of him...and maybe his wife and family (those type of insults are common apparently).

Role play at training...have a consultant come to training and have them insult JWH in tackles.
          Every type of vile insult.

Roosters enforced Jared Waerea-Hargreaves was one of three players charged by the Match Review Committee following his side's 20-10 win over the Sea Eagles on Thursday night.

Hargreaves was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact offence on Manly youngster Zac Fulton in the 62nd minute of the game, which will attract a $3,000 fine with an early guilty plea. As it is his third and subsequent offence this year, he will face a two-match ban if he unsuccessfully contests the charge at the judiciary.

Teammate Egan Butcher was also charged with a Grade Two High Tackle - Careless offence in the final minute of the game and will miss one week with an early plea.

Manly debutant Alfred Smalley was cited for the same offence following his tackle on Sam Verrills in the opening five minutes of the game, and he too will miss one week with an early guilty plea.

Egan was injured and may not have played next week anyway, but I thought the initial contact was on the arm of the other tackler and then slipped up. It was not as bad as Smalley's hit on Verrills.
Agree, to me it looked like first contact was across the arm/shoulder also.

It's embarrassing to the game & insulting to the fans that the Manly wingers hit on Verrills wasn't dealt with more harsher. Could of fractured his face.

                Get serious everyone, please.
The Roosters players indiscretions are nothing.
Nathan Cleary almost broke a guy's neck tonight, and NAS had the same action as JWH did, only difference is that he dropped down from a standing position, with full force on Egan's jaw, and nearly broke it.
If Egan Butcher gets a week off for that tackle, Cleary and NAS need to sit out the rest of the regular season.

                  Not just fine by me.
                  He gets suspended, we're finished.
                  No JWH...we lose...a well-known fact.
                  How old is he?
Surely he can play footy now without getting cited, suspended.
                  Maybe a counsellor could help.
You don't see SST getting cited every second game.

The photo in the paper of the JWH incident made the incident look grubby.
We'll see how much Robbo loves foul play when half his team is suspended and his team flops in the finals or fails to make it there.

Yet the whole Chookpen forum goes into uproar when our players show some niggle in games.
It is going to cost us the season !!!!
Robbo should instruct our players to roll out the red carpet to our opposition, all the away to our tryline.

I think the judiciary has an issue with not being able to charge NAS.

Maybe if that giant thug NAS has actually broken Wade Egan's jaw he 'might' of got suspended, but with the NRL still not a certainty. And how in any sane world does Smalley stay on the field for his hit on Sammy V, yet Egan Butcher gets 10 in the bin??..........In the words of our most ordinary 5/8 'Ya off ya head!!'

I would love him at the Roosters.
Imagine NAS, Lodge, The Cheese, JWH & Rads all grubbing on together for the Roosters.

Did you know in 2018 & 2019 when the Chooks won the comp that the NRL's biggest grub our man JWH was suspended both years & if he hadnt been the Chooks wouldnt have won the comp.
He put fear in the opposition & he still does & getting a weeks suspension is a good thing. Keeps all the other teams worried.
All the coaches know you have to have the dirtiest, grubbiest, roughest, toughest thug if you want to win comps.
Its full on combat & you have to hurt people & if you dont want the players to do that go & watch ballet.
