We (the people struggling to see how good he is) looked long and hard at him this season and saw absolutely none of what you said he does.
What we saw was a drug scandal, and a sparkless player who looked over the hill.
Hopefully he's just been plodding along trying to stay injury free, not wear himself out, so he can be ready to shine for us in 2023.

First thing the Club should do when he arrives is make him feel welcome and at the same time explain a few things to him.

You have mistaken the word WE for YOU

I agree. It seems to me he wants more to get away from the storm than play good footy and there’s a huge pay packet awaiting him here. From his form at the storm is he coming here just for the $ or to play some serious footy? I’m more concerned about the attitude he’s bringing. Going by his form this season I’d say he’s a dud buy. He should be showing us what he can do but instead is loud mouthing refs and getting suspended. That we don’t need.

I see a frustrated man. Bellyache kept him there and deliberately shunted him on the bench and give him little game time so his fitness will be down when he comes to the Roosters.

This is why a window period at the end of the year for trades needs to be brought in to the NRL. But I am starting to believe that neither Abdo nor V'landys know what they're doing so they won't fix Rugba League.

We get him on the field for 80 minutes. He is unreal.

Complete gun. People unsure about this signing when he’s a star who actually wants to play for us. Crazy.

Indeed. Can't believe people have forgotten how good he is. That try he scored today was unreal, and those runs aren't uncommon. As good as Verrills has been recently, he has nowhere near the gamebreaking ability Smith has

He was back to his attacking best tonight. Wish he was in our team now

His defence was really solid too, he’s a tough bloke, and will fit in nicely with our pack.

I just want Sandon Smith to play a game with Brandon Smith. While we’re there, slot Billy Smith at centre in for a cameo

Smith's versatility & ability to play 80 mins allows Trent to name a young hooker like Moriarty and blood them off the bench. Brandon can slip in to the backrow/lock and give someone else a breather.
