I would prefer to leave the team as named and give Manu an extra roving role in attack, especially against the Premiers at full strength!

But to persist with Momo against his former team is absolute madness and I’m sure he will be targeted heavily by a Coach who knows him well!

Trying to see how we can win this game against a gun team at their home ground without JWH, Keary & Momo back in the team after only 1 game in reserves....almost got optimistic then remembered the penalties & 6 agains we give away.

I prefer Manu in a roving role.

He is one of our weakest defenders. Five eight's defend 3 in, he'll be making about 25 tackles.

He'll cop plenty of traffic which will blunt his attack.

Hutcho is steady at five eighth. He played OK there last year when we had so many out injured.

Don’t you think Keary is ok by now? If not then it’s more serious than we’ve thought and he’s not up to facing the riff.

Yeah, I Reckon it's a great idea. Try halftime and pretend u going to the bar and then sneak the farg out via the back of the grandstand...be sneaky..

Im curious to see what the in game kicking will look like. Walker is a good short kicker but does he have the boot to be the primary kicker yet? How does Manu go in terms of kicks, if he can at all. I know Verrills is a somewhat handy kicker, maybe we'll see a couple kicks out of dummy half, though if thats the case I once again prefer AK but that seems like a lost cause now.

Sure it's going to be tough against Penrith, at their home ground, missing JWH and Keary. I reckon we can still win, and wouldn't that be a huge momentum boost. I see we are out to $5.50, and getting 15.5 start at $1.90. I'll take some of that. Yes we could and should get beaten, but I see no point in predicting a loss, and I don't understand why any SUPPORTER would do it.

FWIW, I think we are a good chance this week if we try something different like playing Manu at 5/8th.

Very good Rocky....some of the 50-pointers might take that option.

Probably is the right answer tbh, also forgot about Keighran as an option in my initial post

backs against the wall tomorrow night. despite the losses i think the team has shown good signs over the last month or so. play well tomorrow against the best team on their home ground and we'll know we're still kicking

Yes Keighran would probably be a better option than Momo on current form..

Anyway let’s see how it pans out on Friday night, hope Momo surprises us!
