We've already bought him, so clearly Mortimer isn't a long-term option at 5/8.
Maybe Fullback? He has been training there and his support play resembled that of a Fullback today.

Now I only did space maths so I might be wrong in this. That means that Maloney is 4 times the player that Anasta is.

I still think a halves combo of Morts and Maloney would go pretty damned good.

maloney is also 3 years older. i go in and out of favor with the maloney signing. now that kelly appears to have been signed by newtown and mortimer is showing signs of offering something, we may find ourselves with 2 absolutely outstanding long term 6 options even before maloney arrives. that said maloney is a good player and will be a valuable addition just not a genuine match winner imo. mortimer proved in 09 that he can be just that so saying that he will never be as good as maloney is a big call. in 09 he was better and while he is spades off that, im not going to write him off just yet. kelly has all the potential in the world. lets just say its a good problem to have
