We are getting 14.5 start on Sportsbet for $1.90

I think Penrith will be flat after the origin game,
I think they will underestimate us.
I think having Radley, Verrills, Keary and JWH back will be a huge boost for us.
I think Suaali gets better every game, and Smith will do the same.
We missed a win against Melbourne by one dropped ball, the loss to Parra wasn't that bad.
Our season starts next week.

There are 5 days between origin and the panthers game, Cleary may still want to rest his origin players because they are in a strong position to do that, but considering us and them have a bye the following week too, I think they’ll field a strong team.

I can’t remember the panthers underestimating anybody in the last few years, even their backup players buy into the success they have had regardless of who is in the team.

Minimum it would be nice to get through this game healthy and be competitive like we were v storm, a win would be a massive bonus, Because after that bye we have a good chance to win 3 straight.

The Panthers are a champion team you have to give them credit & they will not be flat after the Origin game, trust me.
Im not bagging out any Roosters players & Im not bagging you out Im just saying the odds are stacked against the Chooks to beat Penrith.
It would certainly help the Chooks confidence if they beat Penrith but I cant see it happening.

Can't imagine Penrith resting any of their origin players vs Roosters on 1/7/2022 if not injured.

SOO 2 is 26/6/2022 and they have the bye round 17 as well and SOO 3 is 13/7/2022.

That will be 17 days between games if rested for the Roosters game on 1/7/2022 which Fittler and co wouldn't like especially if SOO 3 is a decider

Penrith will definitely rest players after SOO- Possibly the game vs Tigers which is on 17/7/2022 (SOO 3 is 13/7/2022) .

The Roosters play the Dragons on 16/7/2022 so they may not have the SOO backing up either

Wait until Origin is over before making any more predictions, placing bets with your hard earned money etc. No one knows what is going to happen. Even I've given up predictions..but my instincts are telling me around 5th place. Like someone else on here, I don't agree with a top 8 as that means a few mediocre teams get a privileged spot in the finals. I think it should only be top 6.

Is it just me or do the more Roosters who get picked for Orign the more nervous I get?

yeah well let's not be millionaires and say that cos we have the team to be top 4 but finish lower down in the 8 we don't deserve to win. if we put on the boiler suits and scrap who knows how far we get.
it won't be a regular occurrence but it is only a matter of time before a team wins the comp from 7 or 8.

The only 'thing' missing is the orchestra conductor. A fit Keary with ALL the above fit players and we could indeed go on a run of wins...
