Exactly right it's been a long time since we just turned up and dominate a game, even when we look like doing it we let in a few soft tries..

But I can't see the man doing it, we are nowhere near Penrith or Storm.
Sitili takes that ball we beat Melbourne.

The Chooks are on 14 points plus 2 points for the bye takes them to 16, if you add those 3 wins we will be 22 points. There is no way the Chooks make the 8 with only 22 points they have to win 5 games to be a chance. I still say it’s gonna come down to rd 25 against the Rabbits to work out if the Roosters or Souths get 8th position.

Its not looking good. We shouldn't be hoping to make the 8, we have a good enough team to push for a top 4 spot.

If we finish 7th or 8th I give us next to no chance. It will avoid embarrassment, that's it.

yeah well let's not be millionaires and say that cos we have the team to be top 4 but finish lower down in the 8 we don't deserve to win. if we put on the boiler suits and scrap who knows how far we get.
it won't be a regular occurrence but it is only a matter of time before a team wins the comp from 7 or 8.

We are too hot & cold this year to confidently predict who we beat in these last 9 rds. It's the old saying just taking it game by game for us ATM. We've only put together a solid full 80min in about 4 games from memory.

Teams with rosters like Tigers, Warrior's,Bulldogs & Knights should be the one's hoping to make the 8 & looking mathematically at their last 9 rds to try & predict who they will beat.

But I will channel all my positivity & hope that once we get JWH, Keary & Rads back we will finally click & go on a decent run & grab between 6th-8th spot. And then it's a whole new comp & of course the Mighty Roosters can win it.

if we beat those 3 teams, we should make the 8, because we would jump or stay ahead of them, and two of the four of us will occupy 7th or 8th, hopefully add the tigers and knights games as wins, and it goes a long way.

but initially, beating manly and dragons, puts us in a better position than them.

I reckon if we have Radley, Keary and JWH back we will beat Penrith. The target now is to win 7 from 9, and get a home semi from 6th spot.

What gives you confidence we will beat Penrith ? Certainly not form ? Hope you're right but I'm a punter and I would want a big start out there to take the boys on

We are getting 14.5 start on Sportsbet for $1.90

I think Penrith will be flat after the origin game,
I think they will underestimate us.
I think having Radley, Verrills, Keary and JWH back will be a huge boost for us.
I think Suaali gets better every game, and Smith will do the same.
We missed a win against Melbourne by one dropped ball, the loss to Parra wasn't that bad.
                        Our season starts next week.

I hope the Roosters see that and it fires the inconsistent ones right up.

love it. we're flying under the radar!
as poor as our results have been over the last month, we've played some of our best footy of the season and it was against the best teams. we should be there come september

I'm not sure that Rads and JWH are certain starters for the Riff game though.

I know Rads got selected for the SOO camp but from all reports I've seen he's not due back til R19 and I also saw that JWH wouldn't be til R20.
I hope that's wrong because I also think that with a full strength team we make the finals and after that its a whole new competition.
