I've liked Brown over the years.... he was very reckless at Souths, and calmed down at Parra , still showed plenty of agression, and a bit of skill with the ball, I like him, but he's been off his game this year, and he lacks size, which puts a lot of pressure on a middle forward. I reckon he could have off-field issues as well. It is possible that he could shine at a great club like the Chooks, but is he a replacement for TKO ? Maybe, we need an experienced hardhead if he's not on too much money.
What's he worth ?

I agree with the bit in bold. I know a while back Parra offered him $650k per season for 3 years, but he said he wanted more. Parra then withdrew their offer and now he's gone!!!

I'm with you. Only for the rest of the season. He would have to absolutely kill it to get an extension into next year. Could be the motivation he needs.

I think he's a bit of an underrated player, he does have talent and the right sort of mongrel … he went after the Eels pack on Monday and was very effective.

I know he may not be the best when it comes to discipline and temperament but in a good system, under a good coach he could really be someone with X-Factor.

Price wise … that’s where we would stall as he’d want big money and I doubt we would offer him anything over $600K per season … so realistically there’s probably no chance plus stylistically, he's not the 'Robbo prototype'.

We would have to pay a decent amount but surely he wouldn't demand top dollar.

And I can see us getting the best out of him, which was probably about 2 seasons ago now, he played origin back then.

Robbo could almost lure him with the idea of playing beyond a semi final and playing origin again!
